Dropkick on My Devil!! Apocalypse Day, also known as Jashin-chan Dropkick "Seikimatsu-hen", is an anime TV special produced by Makaria Inc. It premiered on Crunchyroll on December 26, 2023. The story is set in a post-apocalyptic Jinbōchō, Tokyo, which has been reduced to ruins by objects falling from space, with Yurine Hanazono now the ruler. Jashin-chan, longing to return to her beloved Jinbōchō, journeys south to challenge Yurine, learning new techniques along the way. This special continues the series' signature nonsense-comedy style, showcasing the hilarious everyday lives of Jashin-chan and her friends in a post-apocalyptic setting. Jashin-chan remains a self-centered, gluttonous, yet somewhat kind-hearted character, and her interactions with Yurine continue to be the core of the story. Familiar characters such as Medusa and Minos also make appearances, providing familiar fun for the audience. The special is approximately 24 minutes long and is a lighthearted work suitable for fans of the Dropkick on My Devil!! series.
