电器少女

"Appliance Girls" is a Chinese animated series released in 2023, telling the story of Liang Xigua, a poor young man struggling to make a living in the city. One day, his old refrigerator transforms into a human-like girl named Xiaoshuang, which triggers a series of stories. This animation is praised for its vivid and touching portrayal of real life, as well as its references and homages to ACG works. The story includes the bond between the two protagonists, the addition of Kuan Kuan and Ashi, and interweaves travel and other plots. The animation style is light and pleasant, integrating elements such as anthropomorphic moe, tsundere young ladies, and loyal butlers, presenting a youthful creative attitude. Although it is a short-form anime, it is well-produced and praised as one of the rare works that plays with memes normally in recent years, demonstrating confidence in domestic 2D animation. The animation is short, but the plot is complete and worth encouraging. Some viewers believe the first episode lacks buildup and recommend watching the second episode first, then the first and third episodes. The ending theme song is well-made, and the lyrics were also changed in the last episode.
