"True Yang Martial God" is a Chinese animated series released in 2023, telling a story full of challenges and legends. The story takes place in an era called the Great Qian Dynasty, which appears prosperous and submissive to all, but in reality, undercurrents are surging. Distant enemies and nearby neighbors are eyeing it covetously, the eight great demon immortals are ready to make trouble, powerful minister Wu Wenhou Hong Xuanji is dominating the court, and Taoist Master Meng Shenji is monitoring the world. In this turbulent era, Hong Yi, a young scholar and the son of the powerful minister Hong Xuanji and the former Holy Maiden of the Supreme Dao Meng Bingyun, suffers oppression due to his status as an illegitimate child. Having lost his mother in his childhood, he is unwilling to accept fate, resolutely embarking on the path of dual cultivation of martial arts and Taoism. With his strong will and unremitting efforts, he defeats numerous enemies and eventually becomes a legendary figure. The story, introduced with the saying "The world is a vast sea of suffering, in which people are like boats carrying souls to the other shore," showcases the inspiring tale of the protagonist Hong Yi's resistance against the oppression of fate. The animation is currently updated to 14 episodes.
