After-school Hanako-kun

"After-school Hanako-kun" (放課後少年花子くん) is a spin-off manga series of "Toilet-bound Hanako-kun", created by AidaIro. The manga was serialized in pixiv Comic's PFantapy and a collected volume was released in August 2019. It depicts the everyday lives of Hanako-kun and his human assistant, Nene Yashiro, after school, as well as their interactions with other characters from the school. Instead of resolving supernatural incidents, they engage in various lighthearted activities, such as playing games, getting sick, changing genders, and uncovering secrets. The manga was adapted into an anime series in 2023, with the first season airing in October 2023, consisting of 4 episodes, and the second season airing in October 2024, also with 4 episodes. The anime was produced by Lerche, and Crunchyroll licensed and produced an English dub. "After-school Hanako-kun" offers a new perspective on the characters of "Toilet-bound Hanako-kun", allowing viewers to get to know them better in a more relaxed and comedic setting.
