Blazing Team: Masters of Yo Kwon Do is an animated television series co-produced by Guangdong Alpha Animation & Culture and Hasbro Studios. This series is a reimagining of Alpha's Blazing Teens franchise, aimed at Western audiences. The show combines yo-yo tricks with martial arts, following four teenagers who, under the guidance of Lao Shi, learn and master the art of "Yo-Kwon-Do" to protect the world. The first season, consisting of 26 episodes, premiered in the United States on Discovery Family on November 13, 2015. The second season, reduced to 16 episodes, premiered on July 22, 2017. In China, the series debuted on iQiyi and other streaming platforms in August 2017. Unlike the original Blazing Teens, this series features an entirely different cast of characters. The series has been broadcast in various countries and regions, including Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, and the Middle East and North Africa.
