A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School!

"A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School!" (Japanese: 妖怪学校の先生はじめました！, Hepburn: Yōkai Gakkō no Sensei Hajimemashita!) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Mai Tanaka. The story follows Haruaki Abe, a cowardly and timid rookie teacher, who begins working at Hyakki Academy. This school, however, is no ordinary institution, but rather a school for youkai (supernatural beings), and Haruaki, as the only human, struggles to adapt among his mischievous students. The manga began serialization in Square Enix's Monthly GFantasy magazine in November 2014, and an anime adaptation by Satelight premiered in October 2024. Alongside the main manga, a spin-off manga focusing on one of the main character's students titled "A New Student at Ghoul School!" (Japanese: 妖怪学校の生徒はじめました！) began serialization on Pixiv Comic in March 2018. The series is known for its unique humor and heartwarming slice-of-life school stories.
