The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party, Is, in Fact, the Strongest

"The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party, Is, in Fact, the Strongest" is a Japanese light novel series written by Kagekinoko and illustrated by Kakao Lanthanum. The story follows Laust, a healer who is kicked out of his party but is actually incredibly powerful. Laust, deemed too weak, is banished from his party and meets the martial artist Narsena in despair, who invites him to form a new party. Together, they embark on a new journey. The series began serialization online in May 2018 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō, and was later acquired by Futabasha, who published the first volume in January 2019. A manga adaptation illustrated by Miwa Narumi has been serialized online via Futabasha's Gaugau Monster website since February 2020. An anime television series adaptation produced by Studio Elle aired from October to December 2024, consisting of 12 episodes. The anime’s opening theme is "Saikyō? Saikō! Brave My Heart" performed by Hina Tachibana, and the ending theme is "Only" by Sizuk. Set two centuries after a hero defeated the evil Jaryu, the story unfolds in a dungeon city where Laust struggles to find his place. This work combines action, comedy, and fantasy, telling the tale of an underestimated healer showing his true strength.
