My Wife Has No Emotion

"My Wife Has No Emotion" (Japanese: 僕の妻は感情がない, Boku no Tsuma wa Kanjō ga Nai) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Jirō Sugiura. It initially began as a webcomic on the author's Pixiv account in March 2019, before being serialized in Media Factory's Monthly Comic Flapper magazine in August 2019. The story follows Takuma Kosugi, a single salaryman who purchases a domestic robot named Mina to help with housework. One night, Takuma jokingly asks Mina to be his wife, and to his surprise, Mina takes this request seriously and begins acting as his wife. The series explores the evolving relationship between Takuma and Mina, and the implications of a human and a robot in a marital setting. An anime adaptation by Tezuka Productions aired from July to September 2024. The opening theme song is "Okaerinasai" (Welcome Back) by VTuber Sora Tokino, and the ending theme is "Wave" by Miisha Shimizu. This work delves into the themes of human-AI relationships, and poses questions about technology and emotional connections.
