ねこに転生したおじさん

Neko ni Tensei Shita Oji-san (ねこに転生したおじさん, "The Guy That Got Reincarnated as a Cat") is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yajima. Originally published as a web manga on Twitter and Instagram since February 2023, it was later picked up for serialization by Kadokawa Corporation, who began serializing the series on their KadoComi website in October of the same year. As of September 2024, the series has been compiled into three tankōbon volumes by Kadokawa Shoten. An anime television series adaptation by Studio Eight Colors premiered in October 2024. The story follows an ordinary salaryman who suddenly reincarnates as a cat. Unable to speak human language, he is found in distress by the president of his company, who was known for his strictness but changes his attitude upon seeing the adorable cat (who is actually the salaryman) and names him "Pun-chan," starting to dote on him. The series has captivated many fans with its unique premise and heartwarming story, and it ranked second in the Web Manga category of the 2023 Next Manga Awards. The anime adaptation premiered on October 7, 2024, within the Poka Poka variety program on Fuji TV, with missed episodes available for streaming.
