金吾卫之风起金陵

"Jin Wu Wei Zhi Feng Qi Jin Ling" (Wind Rises in Jinling) is a 2024 Chinese mainland drama series. It tells the story of Qin Ming, a master of mechanical deception, who is pulled into the Jin Wu Wei (Golden Guard) by Bai Qi, a master of puzzle-solving. He becomes a firefighter in the Fire Prevention Division. During their investigation of the Thunder Fire case, they meet Jing Yifei, the "number one" in the Military Affairs Division. The three form a detective team to not only unravel the mysteries of the Thunder Fire case but also explore their own backgrounds and the duties and meanings of being a Jin Wu Wei. The series depicts frequent thunder fire murders, widespread rumors, and even rat-faced Yin soldiers rampaging in the capital, with all clues seemingly pointing to the secrets of the previous dynasty that were destroyed by thunder fire. Three teenagers with vastly different personalities are thus brought together by fate to face challenges and reveal the truth. The series has concluded, with a total of 16 episodes, and premiered on May 18, 2024. The main cast includes Jin Xian as Qin Ming, Yang Tianxiang as Bai Qi, and Zhao Yitong as Jing Yifei. This drama blends elements of mecha, puzzle-solving, and investigation, and is an ancient costume drama with suspenseful undertones.
