How Dare You!?

"How Dare You!?" (Cheng He Titong) is a Chinese animation series adapted from the web novel of the same name by Qi Yingjun. It tells the story of Wang Cuihua, a modern-day office worker who gets transmigrated into a palace intrigue novel due to her addiction to web novels. She becomes the villainous concubine Yu Wanyin. In order to change her fate, she decides to join forces with the tyrant Xiahou Dan, who is also a transmigrator. However, another transmigrator, Xie Yong'er, believes herself to be the chosen one. Yu Wanyin hopes that the three modern individuals can set aside the palace struggles and peacefully play cards and eat hot pot together. However, Xie Yong'er chooses to oppose Yu Wanyin and the male lead King Duan Xiahou Bo's team. Thus, Yu Wanyin must take a series of actions to survive and help the Xia Dynasty prevent a drought crisis. The animation is known for its absurd humor and palace intrigue elements and broke iQIYI's original animation viewing records, achieving high viewership in various countries and regions.
