"My Heroic Husband Season 2" is a Chinese mainland historical fiction comedy directed by Deng Ke and starring Guo Qilin and Song Yi. It is adapted from the novel of the same name by Fen Nu de Xiang Jiao. The series tells the story of a modern businessman who travels back to ancient times and becomes Ning Yi, the matrilocal husband of the Su family. Using his modern business knowledge, Ning Yi helps Su Tan'er run the cloth business and gradually achieves success in the ancient society while also becoming involved in national affairs. Season 2 continues the story of the first season, showcasing Ning Yi's struggles and growth in the ancient world. The series is co-produced by New Classics Media, Tencent Pictures, and others, and is expected to be broadcast on Tencent Video. The second season was announced in June 2021 and is currently under preparation with the exact release date and number of episodes yet to be determined.
