Xiangli Yao

Xiangli Yao is a playable 5-star Electro Mutant Resonator character in Wuthering Waves. He is the Principal Investigator at the Huaxu Academy in Jinzhou, the Academy's youngest multi-disciplinary scientist, and an expert in Automata Mechanics research. In his backstory, Xiangli Yao awakened his Resonance abilities after losing his arm and coming into contact with an unknown metal substance at the Court of Savantae Ruins. His Resonance is manifested through metal manipulation, particularly by changing the shape and storing energy in his prosthetic arm. In combat, Xiangli Yao uses Gauntlets, accumulating energy to unleash powerful skills and entering an 'Intuition' state to enhance his attacks and deliver large AoE Electro damage. His skill set includes basic attacks, Resonance Skills, and Resonance Liberation, which allows him to enter the 'Intuition' state, boosting his basic attacks and skills, and using 'Hypercubes' to release even more powerful moves. Xiangli Yao is a strong main DPS with unique crowd control and debuff abilities.
