Arius Squad

The Arius Squad is one of the school clubs in Arius Branch School in Blue Archive. Before its formal establishment, it was originally a group of three students, Saori, Misaki, and Hiyori, who were trying to survive the harsh environment of the Arius Catacombs under Beatrice's rule. Their leader, Saori, played a crucial role in their survival. Later, Atsuko, who was originally ordered by Beatrice to be sacrificed, was rescued and trained by Saori. Additionally, Saori saved Azusa from guards who were beating her for disobeying Beatrice's orders. After seeing the capabilities of these five students under Saori's training, Beatrice saw a use for them and officially formed the Arius Squad. Initially acting as a terrorist cell, they were manipulated by Beatrice, who viewed them as disposable pawns. They were sent to assassinate Seia and participated in the attack during the Eden Treaty signing. However, Azusa later realized the beauty of Trinity and betrayed the squad, becoming a double agent and causing intense conflict with them. After failing to conquer Gehenna and Trinity, Beatrice deemed them useless, intending to sacrifice Atsuko and abandon the other three, who were ultimately rescued by the Sensei. Currently, the Arius Squad is out of favor at Trinity, Gehenna, and Arius campuses and are in exile. Due to Beatrice's teachings, all members hold nihilistic views, and all except Atsuko come from poor backgrounds.
