Ardent

Ardent is a character in Azur Lane, also known as 碧蓝航线 (Bìlán Hángxiàn) and アズールレーン. She is a Destroyer of the Royal Navy from the A-class. Ardent is depicted with blonde hair in twin tails tied with dark-blue scarves, blue eyes, and a dark-blue school uniform. In the game, she is portrayed as friendly and caring, with a passion for cooking and making meals for the Commander, often remembering their favorite foods. Her in-game skills focus on increasing air strike damage and reducing damage taken by Carriers and Light Carriers. Ardent also appears in various fan-made works and stories. Historically, HMS Ardent was a real-life British Royal Navy A-class destroyer that served in World War II before being sunk by German battleships in 1940. In Azur Lane, Ardent has both her initial form and a retrofitted form, with multiple skins including Valentine's Day and maid-themed costumes. Her character design is meant to embody the cuteness and liveliness of a destroyer, while also reflecting the elegance associated with the Royal Navy.
