Ariake

Ariake, a personified warship in "Azur Lane" (アズールレーン), represents the fifth ship of the Japanese Hatsuharu-class destroyers. In the game, she is depicted as a gentle character with a slightly older sister vibe, often caring for fellow Hatsuharu-class destroyers Yugure, Shiratsuyu, and Shigure. Ariake not only excels in battle, possessing excellent torpedo barrage capabilities, but also showcases her homemaking and caring abilities in the daily port life. She prepares lunch boxes for the Commander and other ship girls, while also aspiring to be a cute younger sister-like character, hence preparing special chocolates for Valentine's Day. Furthermore, Ariake is a responsible and trustworthy ally, always concerned about her companions and stepping up in crucial moments. In the game's storyline, she is associated with the Sakura Empire faction, which has complex relationships with other factions. Ariake's artwork and dialogue are filled with her affection for her companions, as well as her sense of duty and responsibility as a mature destroyer. She is also very mindful of the Commander's opinions, often showing a desire to be trusted and relied upon.
