Fortune (meta)

Fortune META is a special META ship in Azur Lane, classified as an Elite rarity with a five-star rating. She is a Destroyer who belongs to the META faction. Compared to the original Fortune, her skills and role have changed significantly. Fortune META's core feature is her special ability to clear enemy barrages by using a slash attack from her skill "Eyes of Fate," but this can initially only be used twice. To re-enable this barrage clearing ability, the condition for "Fortune and Causality" needs to be met, which triggers when any ship in the fleet's HP falls below 50%. At this point, Fortune META will fire a special barrage and replace her original one. At this time the frequent special slash will effectively protect the frontline. Her skills also include increasing her own damage and increasing her Firepower, Torpedo, and Reload stats when a special barrage is triggered. In exercises, she has gained attention as a defensive option against torpedo-focused fleets, especially against ships like Jintsuu META. Recommended equipment includes high-rate-of-fire main guns to trigger skill effects more often. Overall, Fortune META is a ship that needs specific conditions to reach her full potential and leans more towards defensive support.
