Laffey

Laffey is a prominent character in the mobile game *Azur Lane*, a shipgirl personification based on the USS Laffey (DD-459), a Benson-class destroyer of the U.S. Navy. In the game, Laffey is known for her white twintails, red eyes, and rabbit ear hair accessories. She has a lazy and sleepy personality, often appearing listless, but she is capable of displaying surprising power in battle. Laffey is one of the starter ships that players can choose early in the game and is also a main character in the *Azur Lane* anime and *Azur Lane: Slow Ahead!*. Additionally, there's also a "Laffey II" based on the Allen M. Sumner-class destroyer, inheriting the first Laffey's traits with different equipment and combat styles. Laffey features various in-game skins, has her own character songs, and is very popular among players.
