Maury

Maury is a character from the mobile game Azur Lane, a Gridley-class destroyer belonging to the Eagle Union faction. In the game, Maury is characterized by her petite frame, blonde side ponytail, and an ahoge on top of her head. She is energetic and loves to talk about running, boasting that she is the fastest sprinter in the Eagle Union with a top speed of 42.9 knots. Maury has served as an escort for the aircraft carrier Enterprise in the game's storyline and participated in several key battles such as the Coral Sea and Midway battles. She has an outgoing and cheerful personality, loves sports, and cares about the commander. Maury's character design is inspired by the US Navy destroyer USS Maury (DD-401), which historically performed well during World War II. In the game, Maury is an unlockable character by fully limit-breaking her three other Gridley-class sisters, and also available as an event character in players' fleets.
