Mullany

Mullany is a character in the game Azur Lane, a personified shipgirl based on the US Navy's Fletcher-class destroyer USS Mullany (DD-528). In the game, Mullany is portrayed as a caring and gentle girl with a somewhat clumsy side, especially when it comes to cooking, where she often creates 'surprising' dishes. She's notable for her unusually voluptuous figure for a destroyer, and her distinctive midriff-baring outfit paired with black stockings. Mullany possesses a rare anti-burn skill, often serving as a front-line shield role in fleets, known for her high durability and anti-air firepower. She also has a lore connection to the in-game faction of Dragon Empery (representing China), where she spent time studying, giving her a unique qipao skin. In the storyline, Mullany has a close relationship with another Fletcher-class destroyer, Kimberly, and they often act together. Mullany's backstory incorporates real historical elements of her prototype ship, including suffering damage from a Kamikaze attack in WWII and being miraculously repaired. She also served in the Taiwanese Navy, renamed 'Ching Yang', which is reflected in her special in-game outfit.
