Z16

Z16 is a SR-rarity destroyer in the game "Azur Lane," introduced on August 16, 2022, during the "Converging Points Operation" event. She is the 12th ship of the Z5-class destroyers, and the youngest sister in the class. Z16's real-world counterpart is the German destroyer Z16 of World War II, belonging to the 1934A-class (also known as Z5-class). This class was an improvement over the Z1-class destroyers, with primary modifications in the engine and hull. In the game, Z16 belongs to the Iron Blood faction and has standard destroyer stats. Her skills are designed to be maximized through manual operation, but she can perform well as a typical destroyer even without using them. Recommended equipment focuses on anti-aircraft guns with range and attack speed over raw power, and she benefits from being in an Iron Blood fleet. Her character design reflects the relatively uneventful history of her real-world counterpart during World War II, portraying her as a rather reserved character.
