Bristol

Bristol is a character in the game "Azur Lane." She is an Allen M. Sumner-class destroyer known for her persona as an "investigator" who is passionate about exploring unknown mysteries. In the game, she is curious and confident, which may be related to her identity as a ship. She loves reading and movies, gaining skills, knowledge, and imagination from them to continuously "create" new mysteries in the game. She carries a lantern, which not only serves as her tool for investigation but also echoes the imagery of light dispelling fear in the Cthulhu mythos. Bristol's skill archetype comes from the "Spot Hidden" skill in the TRPG "Call of Cthulhu." She is very proud of her reconnaissance skills but also feels uneasy when these skills are limited. Her lines and character design incorporate tributes to the Cthulhu mythos, such as her fear of seaweed, which may be related to Cthulhu's residence in R'lyeh. She has great trust in the Commander, whom she regards as her best investigation partner, inviting the Commander to explore the mysteries of the world together.
