Leipzig

Leipzig is a character in the game "Azur Lane," a rare light cruiser from the Ironblood faction. Her design is based on the lead ship of the German Leipzig-class light cruisers, KMS Leipzig. In the game, Leipzig is portrayed as a shy, often fainting, and somewhat malnourished girl who is deeply concerned about a past collision with Prinz Eugen and fears being disliked by her. Despite this, she strives to fulfill her duties to the Commander. Leipzig is a well-balanced character in combat, possessing a cruiser buff, good front-line survivability, decent output, and both anti-air and survival capabilities. She uses armor-piercing shells and magnetic tracking torpedoes as attack methods. Furthermore, Leipzig has several outfits and Live2D interactive skins. She often appears alongside a shark-shaped weapon called "Fishy" and has multiple Valentine's Day chocolate scenes that highlight her shy yet diligent personality. Leipzig's acquisition in the game is somewhat unique; she is unlocked by collecting a certain number of stars for the Königsberg-class ships in the ship collection, after which she can be obtained in light construction. Besides being a game character, Leipzig's story and image have been integrated into various Azur Lane manga, anime, and merchandise, making her a popular character among players.
