Newcastle

Newcastle is a character from the game Azur Lane, a rare-level light cruiser shipgirl belonging to the Royal Navy faction. Her design is based on the British Royal Navy's Southampton-class light cruiser. In the game, Newcastle is portrayed as an elegant maid, often seen carrying a black umbrella. She has a gentle personality, always ready to serve her commander, while also possessing a carefree side. While she is not known for remarkable battle achievements, she is confident in her ability to enjoy life. Newcastle's skills include Anti-Air Mode, which increases her anti-air capabilities but decreases her shelling, and Reload Command, which increases the reload speed of the entire fleet. After retrofitting, she also gains the skill Vanguard Artillery Command, which boosts the shelling of her vanguard fleet. Her Valentine's Day dialogue reveals her unique understanding of 'ordinary happiness'. As the eldest of the Town-class cruisers, she is very caring of her younger sisters and is beloved by players.
