Helena (meta)

Helena META is a special character in Azur Lane, a variant of the original character Helena. META characters are altered counterparts of original shipgirls, with different appearances, personalities, and abilities. Helena META resembles the original Helena but has a paler skin tone and more worn and decorated clothing, reflecting a war-torn background. Her rigging also appears futuristic or ancient, with a unique red-gray-black color scheme. Personality-wise, unlike the shy and insecure Helena, Helena META is calmer, more mature, and wary of power. Her lines often use past tense, suggesting she might come from the future. In the game, Helena META can be unlocked through Operation Siren or Cruise missions, joining the player's fleet as an independent character. She retains some skills of the original Helena while having unique META abilities like radar scanning for immobilization and vulnerability debuffs. Her equipment is also restricted to non-Eagle Union items. Helena META offers players a different gameplay experience and interpretation of the character.
