Mikuma

Mikuma is a character in the mobile game "Azur Lane." She is a light cruiser of the Sakura Empire faction and the second ship of the Mogami-class heavy cruisers. In the game, she is portrayed as a gentle and caring character, always worried about her older sister, Mogami. She is characterized by the horns on her head and her miko-like attire. Despite her gentle appearance, Mikuma is a capable and responsible ship, providing damage reduction to light carriers and carriers in battle, and reducing damage from armor-piercing rounds. Mikuma is not only effective in battle but is also happy to take on the role of secretary, helping the commander with daily tasks, making her a reliable and gentle character. She also cares deeply about her sister and hopes that the commander will also take good care of her. Mikuma's historical prototype is the second ship of the Mogami-class heavy cruisers of the former Imperial Japanese Navy, named after the Mikuma River in the Hita Basin, Oita Prefecture. The Mikuma character in the game is an artistic interpretation of her historical counterpart, giving the character more personality and charm.
