Nürnberg is a character featured in the game Azur Lane. She is an elite-class light cruiser of the Iron Blood faction, based on the German Navy's Leipzig-class light cruiser, the second ship of the class. In the game, Nürnberg is known for her solid offensive capabilities, excellent anti-air performance, and her ability to buff the anti-air of Iron Blood allies. Her skill 'Well-Trained' provides her with barrage fire and increases the experience gain of submarines in the fleet. 'Air Guardian' boosts her own torpedo stat and the anti-air of Iron Blood allies, and further increases her own anti-air for every 3 enemy planes shot down. Her full barrage skill is based on the Leipzig-class. Nürnberg also has her own storylines in the game, such as her concerns for Leipzig's health and her expressions of care and gratitude towards the Commander. Additionally, she is a character who enjoys making sausages and will bake them for the Commander when things go well. Her character design incorporates elements of German warships, while also maintaining the unique moe-style of Azur Lane.
