Ping hai

Ping Hai is a character in the game Azur Lane, a personification of the second Ning Hai-class light cruiser. Her name, "Ping Hai," translates to "amicable sea." In the game, Ping Hai is characterized by her long brown hair tied into twintails, an ahoge (a cowlick), and red eyes. Her default outfit includes an anchor hair ornament, a red dragon-print cheongsam with a cleavage cutout, a single black thigh-high sock on her left leg, side-tie white panties, and a white jacket. Her rigging consists of two hull pieces containing her 140 mm twin gun mounts and additional 76 mm anti-aircraft guns. Historically, Ping Hai was to be built at the Jiangnan Shipyard in Shanghai based on plans provided by Japan, but rising tensions between the two countries delayed her construction until 1937. Unlike her sister ship, Ping Hai did not have a seaplane complement and carried smaller-caliber AA guns. The character is designed by Kinjo Kuromomo and voiced by Kuno Misaki. She has various skins and themes within the game such as Chinese New Year and swimsuit variations.
