Deutschland

Deutschland is a character in the game "Azur Lane," a heavy cruiser of the Iron Blood faction, based on the historical German ship of the same name. In the game, Deutschland is portrayed as an arrogant, cocky, and somewhat narcissistic character, likely due to her namesake being Germany. However, this attitude is partly a facade to conceal her lackluster career as a ship, her renaming to "Lutzow," and her eventual capture by the Northern Parliament. Despite this, Deutschland is known for her high firepower in the game, and her ship design is unique, featuring a twin-hull structure and mechanized turrets. Her character design is by Ran (Bukeranwu) and voiced by Uesaka Sumire. She has distinctive long black hair with a red streak and blue eyes. She wears a red armband with an iron cross and black lace-up boots with red soles. Her equipment is also unique, including a handheld red and black gun with a fake-tooth grin. In the story of "Azur Lane," Deutschland mainly appears in the anime PV, and has lines in the second episode of "Azur Lane: Queen's Orders."
