Brennus is a heavy cruiser character in the mobile game Azur Lane, belonging to the Iris Libre faction. Her design is inspired by the French Navy's "C5" heavy cruiser proposal from the pre-World War II era. This proposal aimed to replace older light cruisers but was ultimately unrealized due to the outbreak of the war, with some of its design elements incorporated into the later Saint Louis-class heavy cruisers. In the game, Brennus is known for her unique skill mechanism, where she periodically summons "Swords of Judgment" that orbit her. These swords serve as shields to block damage and can also trigger special barrage attacks under certain conditions. If there are no swords, she gains a damage reduction buff. Brennus can act as a defensive character on the battlefield or unleash her offensive potential through manual operation. Her character design and skill effects are unique, showcasing her elegance and majesty as a shipgirl of the Iris faction.
