Gneisenau

Gneisenau is a character in the game "Azur Lane." She first appeared in the "Divergent Chessboard" event and has been featured as a drop character in multiple events, also being available for exchange in event shops. In the Japanese and Chinese servers, the "Divergent Chessboard" event has been archived, allowing players to obtain her from the maps. As a playable character, Gneisenau acknowledges being less bellicose than her sister but is confident in her combat abilities. She communicates simply and directly. Due to the nickname "the Ugly Sisters" shared with her sister Scharnhorst, she has low self-confidence about her appearance. Gneisenau is a battlecruiser with high durability, but her anti-air capability is weak. Her skills focus on intercepting suicide boats, and she can launch torpedoes after limit breaking, although the torpedoes are not guided. Her rigging is named "Potato," similar in style to her sister’s, which is referenced in the story. Gneisenau also has a META form and appears as a boss in META battles, requiring special materials for enhancement.
