Washington

Washington is a character featured in the game "Azur Lane." She is the second ship of the North Carolina-class battleships, with the hull number BB-56. In the game, Washington is portrayed as a straightforward and competitive girl, with a slightly untidy appearance. Initially a delinquent, she had a fiery way of speaking, which she toned down after being taught by her sister, though her true nature emerges on the battlefield. Washington is currently striving to practice a natural smile, with seemingly mixed results. She belongs to the Eagle Union faction and has a strained relationship with her sister ship, South Dakota, due to their historical background. Washington's rigging features a two-forward, one-aft turret configuration, with a standard naval gray finish and a radar antenna on the bridge top. Her portrait shows her side profile silhouette on her right sleeve. In-game lines reveal that Washington likes to obliterate enemies, and she cares about the commander but often hides it behind an abrasive attitude. Historically, the USS Washington was the second ship of the U.S. Navy's North Carolina class, serving in World War II and sinking the Japanese battleship Kirishima.
