Vanguard

Vanguard is a character in the game "Azur Lane," (Azur Lane/アズールレーン), personifying the Royal Navy battleship HMS Vanguard (23). She is depicted with long blonde hair and blue eyes, dressed in a white dress and cape, accented with black gloves, hair ribbon, and thighhighs. Her rigging is a large, elaborate setup, featuring four historical 381 mm twin gun mounts and two 13.3 cm twin DP secondary mounts. In the game, she is portrayed as an otaku, evident in her gacha build animation resembling a mahou shoujo transformation. Historically, Vanguard was the Royal Navy's largest and fastest battleship, the last one built and commissioned, launched in 1944, commissioned in 1946, and scrapped in 1960. In the game, she is designed with powerful anti-air capabilities and unique debuff skills, mainly used for fleet support. Although her firepower is relatively low, she compensates with high reload and barrage attacks. Her character design is by Ask (askzy).
