Ranger

Ranger is a character in the game "Azur Lane," also known as "アズールレーン." She is based on the USS Ranger CV-4, an aircraft carrier of the United States Navy. In the game, she belongs to the Eagle Union faction and is the first special-type aircraft carrier. Ranger is known for her unique configuration of two bomber aircraft and a torpedo aircraft, theoretically giving her a very high damage ceiling. However, her skill's unstable activation, lack of air control, and poor survivability limit her role, resulting in fewer opportunities to play her in the game. Despite this, she remains one of the lowest-cost backline carriers and is a decent choice before Chapter 13. Ranger's character is set as a teacher, which is reflected in her in-game lines and interactions. Her Valentine's Day gift lines also show her complex feelings for the commander, combining a teacher's responsibility with a maiden's shyness and love.
