Hiyou

Hiyou is a light aircraft carrier character in the game Azur Lane. She initially appears as a Sakura Empire ship and later has a META form. The normal form of Hiyou can be obtained through drops in specific areas, while the META form requires completing season missions. Hiyou is characterized by her focus on bombing and relatively low anti-air performance. In her META form, she leans more towards defense with higher durability and reload stats. Her skill "Eagle's Pincer Attack" requires having Junyou in the fleet to activate, which limits her flexibility in team compositions. Overall, Hiyou is positioned as a support-oriented damage dealer in the game, while her META form is more survival-focused, suitable for use in mid-battle scenarios. Like other ships from the same faction, she has distinctive animal ears. The game's story background of Hiyou is somewhat related to her history in World War II, such as her lines mentioning her hatred of the "Stuka" bomber.
