Hiyou (meta)

In Azur Lane, META characters are altered counterparts of the original shipgirls, originating from a mysterious nation. They resemble their original counterparts in appearance, but with differences such as paler skin and war-torn clothing. META characters have a more mature and composed personality, speaking directly and often using the past tense, suggesting they may come from the future. Hiyou META and Hiyou are variations of the same ship, but the META version of Hiyou boasts higher durability and loading, making her more defensive in battle. While Hiyou META is a light aircraft carrier, her skills are enhanced when paired with Junyou. Her role has also shifted from a primarily offensive to a more support-oriented one, suitable for mid-stage combat. Hiyou META's overall design follows a consistent red-gray-black color scheme, reflecting her battle-scarred appearance. Hiyou META can be obtained through seasonal tasks and META Lab in Azur Lane, and can be further strengthened through META battles.
