Weser

Weser, appearing in Azur Lane as a light aircraft carrier, is a character designed based on the German World War II unfinished aircraft carrier 'Weser', which was converted from the heavy cruiser Seydlitz. In the game, Weser belongs to the Iron Blood faction and possesses unique skills and fighting styles. Her skills include 'Iron Blood Shield,' providing a shield for the vanguard and triggering linked effects through Iron Blood allies. Additionally, her barrage aircraft are Ju-87C dive bombers, dealing damage to enemies. Weser's character design also integrates the historical background of the ship's conversion. She thus has two names, one as the heavy cruiser Seydlitz and the other as the auxiliary carrier Weser, highlighting her unique experience. Her personality is calm and patient, with a fondness for coffee and reading. Her dialogue also reveals her care for the commander and a unique perspective on history. Weser's illustration reflects her characteristics as a light carrier, generally based on the Iron Blood faction's distinctive elements, and adds the iconic elements of an aircraft carrier. Her character has tactical value in the game, her skill combinations enabling her to play a powerful role in specific team configurations. For players pursuing an Iron Blood composition, Weser is an indispensable member.
