Hornet

Hornet is a character in the game "Azur Lane," a playable ship based on the USS Hornet (CV-8), a Yorktown-class aircraft carrier of the United States Navy. In the game, Hornet is depicted as a lively and confident character, more outgoing and proactive compared to her sisters, Yorktown and Enterprise. Her character design is by Hao, and her voice actress is Nozomi Yamamoto. She has blonde twintails, green eyes, and wears a black bikini top with short shorts, black thighhighs, fingerless gloves, a cowboy hat, and a black coat with the number '8'. Her rigging consists of a flight deck missing the yellow markings of her sisters, and a flight deck without an island superstructure. Two B-25 Mitchell bombers on her deck are a reference to the Doolittle Raid. In the game's story, she often expresses a strong desire to be recognized by the Commander and strives towards that goal. Her skill is "Miracle Delivery - Doolittle Style!" and she often mentions her sisters, such as saying “I won’t be left behind this time!”
