Dace

Dace, also known as '鲦鱼' in Chinese, is a submarine character in the mobile game Azur Lane. She belongs to the Eagle Union faction. Her ship is based on the USS Dace (SS-247), a Gato-class submarine. In the game, Dace is an elite-rarity ship known for her excellent torpedo stats, though other stats are relatively low. She is mainly obtained through special construction. Dace's character design is by the artist Yumesaki Kaede and her voice actress is Akiko Hasegawa. While not extensively featured in the main storyline, she plays a unique role as a submarine in combat, making her a valuable asset, especially in scenarios requiring submarine warfare. Dace is portrayed as a girl in a diving suit with a simple yet cute design, and her personality matches her appearance - calm and quiet.
