I-25

I-25 is a submarine shipgirl from the Sakura Empire in Azur Lane. She is based on the Imperial Japanese Navy submarine I-25, historically known as the only Axis submarine to successfully bomb the continental United States during World War II. In the game, I-25 is portrayed as a mature and shy character, contrasting with her sister ship I-26. She is very caring towards her sister, afraid she might get lost, and is very kind to everyone, including the commander. I-25's skills are support-oriented, providing hit rate buffs to allied submarines and inflicting hit and reload debuffs on enemies when surfaced. She is an excellent support submarine, and although she lacks self-buffing skills, her support capabilities are crucial in a submarine fleet. Visually, I-25 is known for her distinctive submarine uniform and cute rabbit ear headwear, setting her apart from other shipgirls. Her design is inspired by her historical role in WWII and her character traits in the game.
