U-556

U-556 is a character in the game Azur Lane (碧蓝航线/アズールレーン), an elite-class submarine belonging to the Iron Blood faction. She was first implemented as a limited-time construction ship during the "Scherzo of Iron and Blood" event in late May 2019. U-556 is known in the game for her slightly playful personality and unique skills. She also has multiple skins, such as "Party Knight," which provides players with a diverse visual experience. Although her base stats are not outstanding compared to other submarines, her exclusive equipment, "Oath of Proof," and related skills give her unique tactical value that requires in-depth study and application by players. U-556 META is her META form, implemented later. U-556 META possesses greater firepower and durability, as well as unique skills. She is the first META submarine available through events and area drops, making her a focus for player collection and development. Overall, U-556 and her META form hold unique positions in Azur Lane and are beloved by players.
