U-73

U-73 is a character in the game *Azur Lane*, an Elite-class submarine ship girl belonging to the Ironblood faction, based on the German WWII Type VIIB submarine U-73. In the game, U-73 refers to herself as "Onee-chan" (older sister) and exhibits a reliable side, though she's not particularly mature compared to other U-boats. She's known as an "Aircraft Carrier Hunter," dealing extra damage to aircraft carriers and enhancing her attributes based on the number of Ironblood submarines in her fleet with the "Wolfpack Tactics" skill. U-73 can be obtained through support requests or the Grand Fleet Shop, initially appearing as a limited-time build during the "Ironblood Overture, Pledge of the Sea" event. She has various skins, such as "Science Experiment Time!" and "Early Spring's Passion Potion." Her voice lines fully showcase her personality as an "older sister" and a researcher. She is considered a specialist against aircraft carriers, and performs well when used in combination with her Ironblood submarine companions.
