I-168

I-168 is an SSR rarity submarine character from the Sakura Empire faction in Azur Lane. She is known for sinking the USS Yorktown aircraft carrier and USS Hammann destroyer during World War II, avenging the Hiryuu. In the game, I-168 has excellent reload and high torpedo stats, making her a formidable torpedo attacker, especially against aircraft carriers. Her skills include increased damage against aircraft carriers and a special torpedo barrage upon surfacing. Despite her low diving ability, this trait actually complements her skill 'Counterattack!' which allows her to unleash powerful attacks in certain situations. She also has a skill 'Low Speed Torpedo' that decreases torpedo speed but increases damage. In terms of character design, I-168 has a slightly tsundere personality, refers to herself as 'this lady', and often speaks in the third person. Her voice actress is Sakura Tange, giving the character a unique charm.
