Adventure galley

Adventure Galley is a heavy cruiser-class sailing ship character in the mobile game "Azur Lane." Her design is based on the 17th-century English privateer ship "Adventure Galley," once commanded by the notorious pirate captain William Kidd. In the game, Adventure Galley is known for her high durability and self-healing capabilities, making her very resilient in frontline combat. She excels at enhancing her own mobility and survivability through skills but lacks anti-air capabilities, which require support from other ships. Though unable to equip modern anti-aircraft gear, she can effectively counter air attacks with specific equipment combinations. Adventure Galley is portrayed as deeply distrustful of humans, reflecting the tragic fate of her historical counterpart, William Kidd, who was betrayed and eventually executed by his former sponsors. Her in-game appearance also alludes to this. Historically, William Kidd was not the romanticized rogue, but a true pirate.
