Cheshire

Cheshire is a heavy cruiser character in the game Azur Lane, belonging to the Royal Navy faction. She was first implemented as a research ship on July 9, 2020. Her character design is inspired by the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, hence her cat-ear-like headdress and a near-constant ":3" expression. Cheshire has dark grey hair with blue highlights and blue eyes. Her outfit is similar to other Royal Maid uniforms, emphasizing her bust. In terms of personality, Cheshire is a very affectionate and coquettish character who often refers to the Commander as "Darling" and claims to have imprinted upon them as a result of being built. She also has an interest in cats and Sakura Empire ships with cat ears such as Yamashiro and Akashi. In combat, Cheshire is known for her excellent anti-air capabilities, high survivability, and decent output, making her suitable as a lead ship in anti-air environments, and also as a rear ship in extremely high-pressure situations. Her barrage is in a 4*3 formation, with high damage, airborne delivery, slow speed, and three-time lock-on. It has priority and a strong ability to damage stationary targets but its spread worsens with enemy movement speed.
