Chkalov

Chkalov is a Priority (PR) ship in Azur Lane, belonging to the Northern Parliament faction. She is a scholar-type character, often called 'Professor Chkalov'. She values compensation for work and believes in the principle of 'working for a salary'. Chkalov serves as the head of the Science Department at the port and even developed a special naval combat armor for commanders during an April Fool's event. She is also a fan of alcohol, reportedly recovering her condition after drinking a glass of vodka after an all-nighter. In the game, Chkalov appears as an aircraft carrier with very high aviation stats. She is characterized by her inability to equip fighters, focusing on anti-ship attacks and using her attackers for limited anti-air capabilities. She excels in mob battles and can launch dense bombings. Her skills and loading buffs combine to deliver overwhelming bombings. At the same time, she usually needs to cooperate with other ships to fully unleash her power, not suitable for solo operations. Chkalov's prototype was the Soviet Project 71B ship, also the name of an aircraft carrier in the World of Warships.
