Gascogne is a character in the game "Azur Lane." She is the fourth ship of the French Richelieu-class battleships, though she was never actually built and only exists in design blueprints. In the game, Gascogne appears as a young girl with blue hair and yellow eyes, wearing a white dress and black thigh-highs, wielding a cross as a melee weapon. She often speaks in the third person and describes her actions and status in a mechanical manner, initially lacking emotions and referring to the commander as "Master" (Maître). In-game, Gascogne has a unique artillery mechanism where all main gun mounts are independently controlled with separate loading times. Her skills focus on increasing main gun firing rates and quickly breaking stealth with her barrages. After her fate simulation upgrade, her barrage's ability to clear mobs and damage output are greatly improved, making her suitable for use as a flagship in exploration. Gascogne also has multiple skins, including Valentine's Day and summer themes. Her character setting and lines fully reflect her evolution from a mechanical entity to a being capable of experiencing emotions.
