Kitakaze

Kitakaze is a Super Rare destroyer of the Sakura Empire in the game Azur Lane. She is a Priority (PR) ship, obtained through research missions. Kitakaze is based on the real-life Japanese Navy's "Modified Akizuki-class" destroyer (also known as "Super Akizuki-class"), possessing high durability and anti-air capabilities, along with a unique skill set. She excels in using main gun attacks, ignoring enemy armor types, and launching special torpedo barrages. Kitakaze's skills include "Kitakaze Style - Horizon Splitter," which changes main gun ammo to normal rounds, increasing damage against medium and heavy armor; "Kitakaze Style - Lotus Torpedoes," releasing a torpedo barrage at the start of battle and after torpedo hits; and "Siren Killer," dealing extra damage to Sirens. She boasts high firepower and good survivability, but requires a certain level of training to realize her full potential. Furthermore, Kitakaze is portrayed in-game as a slightly shy but brave character, with a strong admiration for Azuma.
