the Deathsinger Karthus

Karthus, also known as the Deathsinger, is an undying spirit in League of Legends. He is a harbinger of oblivion, whose haunting songs and nightmarish appearance foretell destruction. The living fear the eternity of undeath, but Karthus sees beauty and purity in its embrace, a perfect union of life and death. Emerging from the Shadow Isles, he brings the joy of death to mortals, an apostle of the unliving. Born into abject poverty in Noxus, Karthus developed a morbid fascination with death from a young age, even sneaking into funerals and the rooms of the dying to observe the moment of passing. This obsession led him to join an order responsible for handling corpses, before journeying to the Shadow Isles, where he was reborn as an undead revenant. Karthus believes that death is the liberation of life and seeks to spread this belief to others. He wields powerful magic, including summoning the dead and unleashing spectral energies. In-game, Karthus is a potent mage known for long-range casting and for striking all enemy champions with his ultimate, "Requiem." He is a late-game powerhouse, capable of devastating enemies once he is fully developed.
