the Ice Witch Lissandra

Lissandra, also known as the Ice Witch, is a mage champion in League of Legends. She is not the saint of healing and wisdom that many believe her to be, but rather uses elemental magic to twist pure ice into something dark and terrible. She imprisons or impales with black ice those who would reveal her secrets. Lissandra’s past may be the beginning of the end for Runeterra. In the distant past, she and her sisters Serylda and Avarosa were born, each seeking to harness powerful forces. Lissandra lost her sight for defying the wild magic of the mortal world. She later struck a deal with powerful entities known as the Watchers, gaining near-immortality in exchange. However, her sisters objected to this deal and ultimately, Lissandra sacrificed them, sealing the Watchers beneath the Howling Abyss. Now, she gathers followers, known as the Frostguard, and constantly seeks true ice to delay the return of the Watchers. Lissandra is a ruthless, perfectionist leader who will do anything to achieve her goals, while also living in fear of her past.
